Amassing nearly 800,000 followers between both Instagram and TikTok, rising singer-songwriter Mary Heather Hickman released her first single of 2025, “Denim on Denim,” earlier this year. The snappy, uptempo track boasts a catchy hook that will stick with you all day.

The Arkansas-born, Texas-raised artist has found herself featured on Pandora’s AMP Fresh Cuts, Spotify’s All New Country and Apple Music’s Best New Songs Country and New in Country and her loyal followers are steadily ready to support her next move, which was sending the single to country radio. Shortly after the recent move, she has already ranked as the #31 most played independent artist on the Music Row chart.

The emerging artist just set off on a radio tour this week and looks forward to the tune resonating with even more listeners. “I’m so excited that ‘Denim on Denim’ is officially playing on country radio,” shares Mary Heather. “From the day we wrote it I knew there was something special about this song.
