Neil Medley Renews Publishing Deal

River House Artists, in partnership with Sony Music Publishing Nashville, have announced the renewal of their global publishing agreement with country hitmaker Neil Medley.
With a track record of chart-topping country songs such as Luke Bryan’s #1 hit “Country Song Came On,” Hudson Westbrook’s #1 single “House Again,” and Jake Owen’s #1 single “Made For You,” Nashville-based singer-songwriter Neil Medley has built a reputation as a trusted collaborator across the country music scene. Throughout his career, Medley has penned songs for prominent talent including Miranda Lambert, Jon Pardi, Cody Johnson, Joe Nichols, Jason Aldean, Tyler Farr, Josh Abbott Band, Brent Cobb and more.
His recent highlights include co-writing three of the five songs on Hudson Westbrook’s EP Exclusive, including the title track. He also contributed across nine songs on Westbrook’s debut album Texas Forever. Additional recent cuts include “Mind If I Smoke” by Tyce Delk, as well as “I Gotta Go” by Brooke Lee.
“Ever since I signed, Zebb, Kayla and Lauren have worked tirelessly to put me in the best situations to write my best songs,” shares Neil. “I couldn’t be happier with what we’ve achieved over the past four years and I’m excited about what we’re going to accomplish in the future.”
“Neil is like family to our staff and our writers,” adds Executive Vice President of River House Artists Zebb Luster. “He brings a level of experience to the writing room that always improves the song they are crafting. We couldn’t be prouder to continue our partnership with Neil. He is a major asset to what we have built at River House.”
“Neil is an exceptional songwriter and a trusted collaborator who consistently elevates the creative process,” says Rusty Gaston, Chief Executive Officer of Sony Music Publishing Nashville. “His continued success is a testament to his incredible work ethic and love of great songs, and we’re excited to champion his next chapter.”
